Service Jam 2014
In the weekend between March 7 and 9, the Service Jam Ljubljana took place in the Polygon for the seventh time, following the example of Global Service Jams, which take place simultaneously all over the world, in more than 100 countries.
On Friday, all the Jams around the world got a common theme, which this time was photography and served as a starting point for the design and development of services.
This time, the Ljubljana Service Jam was attended by 34 students and employees of various profiles, who designed and manufactured six working prototypes in 48 hours. Prototypes were unveiled on Sunday, at the conclusion of the event. The new services covered the areas of tourism, education, social networks and public service applications.
Two guests lectured at the workshop; On Friday, Marko Guček presented the challenges and opportunities in developing a new service on the example of GoOpti. Marco Di Norcia, who is on an exchange within RCKE, presented the Fusedrops platform for mass financing of services, which he is developing, and the possibilities for further implementation of designed projects.
